ABSTRACT A positioning or displacement apparatus includes a first member having a first engaging facility and a second member having a plurality of second engaging facilities, wherein the first and second members are relatively movable between a first position wherein a first selected one of the second engaging facilities is engaged with the first engaging facility. The second member is preferably linearly displaceable by disengaging the first selected one of the second engaging facilities, and then engaging a second selected one of the second engaging facilities with the first engaging facility.
