ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE This invention relates to a positioning apparatus for a vehicle body comprising a pair of left and right vehicle body placing sections of a hanger for conveying the vehicle body pro- vided with a pair of left and right locating pins for engaging the vehicle body, and a pair of left and right standard pins pro- jecting downwards therefrom, and a pair of left and right clamp means arranged to clamp the respective pins for positioning the hanger at a predetermined position provided on a machine base below a stop position of the hanger.
