ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A device for positioning loads such as computer ter- minals or parts thereof has a pair of plates which are adjusted with respect to one another with an eccentric on a shaft between the plates which is rotated by a handle disposed outside the space between them. According to the invention, a friction brake is provided between the plates and engages the shaft to prevent undesired rotation which may vary the adjusted position.
