ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A conveying apparatus wherein an object is to be fed from an aligning position wherein the object has been oriented against a stop to a position for onward conveying without changing the orientation thereof. The apparatus is equipped with a pivotably mounted table with a chain or similar means attached to a pulley at one end of the table and mounted rotatably around another pulley at the other end of the table. The chain drives a carriage which is traversable between the said two positions and which in the aligning position is dis- posed to come beneath the object and raises the latter over the stop by the raising of one end of the table. After the raising motion the carriage is transferred with the object to the position for onward conveying, where the object is deposi- ted by the lowering of the end of the table.
