25307-175 ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE An optical fiber connector structure for minimizing loss in an optical fiber connector. The connector includes a cylindrical member for housing the ferrule in which a fiber is fixed, a C-ring having a pawl positioned about the cylindrical member, and grooves formed in the cylindrical member for engaging the pawl. The pawl also engages an adapter so that by selecting the groove which receives the pawl the ferrule and fiber can be rotated to an alignment position.
