A method and apparatus are disclosed for a positioning tool that aids in the positioning of a treatment device under image guidance. The tool is positioned on the external surface of the patient's skin and comprises an alignment portion and an instrument positioning portion that may be viewed under an imaging means. The tool is also visible to the user without any imaging means. The tool is aligned with an internal target and provides a visual reference indication for the target location for orienting at least one treatment device at a desired treatment site relative to the internal target.
L'invention concerne un procédé et un appareil pour un outil de positionnement qui aide au positionnement d'un dispositif de traitement sous guidage d'images. L'outil est positionné sur la surface externe de la peau du patient et comprend une partie d'alignement et une partie de positionnement d'instrument qui peuvent être visualisées sous des moyens d'imagerie. L'outil est également visible par l'utilisateur sans moyens d'imagerie. L'outil est aligné avec une cible interne et donne une indication de référence visuelle pour l'emplacement cible afin d'orienter au moins un dispositif de traitement au niveau d'un site de traitement souhaité par rapport à la cible interne.
