ABSTRACT A post holder bracket for holding a wooden support post upright on a concrete or cement base is formed from stamping or working a single piece of sheet metal and offers effectiveness and ease of manufacture. The post holder bracket comprises a base which rests on the surface of the concrete, two side portions extending upwardly from the base to secure the support post in the upright position, two anchoring tabs extending down into the concrete to secure said post holder bracket, and a plurality of nail holes provided on the side portions for fastening the support post to the holder bracket.
