Sheet post processing apparatus is disclosed in a compact form for receiving from an image forming machine successive sheets of printed material and performing post processing thereto, by feeding sheets into the apparatus at the output speed of the image forming machine, by stopping the leading edge of the sheets by feed rolls, performing a first post process on the sheet, upstream of the feed rolls, then feeding the processed sheet, by said feed rolls, at a higher speed by either a bypass path to a receiver or through a divergent path by a diverter to an inclined tray beneath the first processor for performance of a different post process and then from the inclined tray to a stacker by an additional output feed associated with the inclined tray.
Postprocesseur de feuilles, de forme compacte, pour recevoir d'une machine de formation d'images des feuilles imprimées successives et assurer leur traitement ultérieur. Les feuilles sont d'abord alimentées dans le postprocesseur à la vitesse de sortie de la machine de formation d'images, puis le bord d'entrée des feuilles est arrêté par les rouleaux chargeurs. On exécute alors un premier traitement ultérieur sur la feuille, en amont des rouleaux chargeurs. Ensuite, la feuille traitée est alimentée à un receveur, au moyen des rouleaux chargeurs, à une vitesse plus élevée, par un trajet de déviation. La feuille peut également emprunter un trajet divergent ouvert par un déviateur afin d'être acheminée jusqu'à un plateau incliné situé sous le premier processeur pour l'exécution d'un traitement ultérieur différent. Depuis le plateau incliné, la feuille est alors dirigée vers un empileur par une sortie supplémentaire d'alimentation associée au plateau incliné.
