There is disclosed a herbicide composition in which a postemergent herbicide is activated by the inclusion of a silicone glycol adjuvant consisting essentially of (i) a silicone glycol having an average structure (see fig.I) wherein Me denotes a methyl radical, and (ii) a silicone glycol dispersant compound for component (i). When compared to similar prior art silicone glycol adjuvants not having an acetoxy terminated glycol chain, the compositions of the present invention provide enhanced rainfastness in the control of weeds, particularly velvetleaf plants.

L'invention porte sur une composition herbicide, dans laquelle un herbicide de postlevée est activé par inclusion d'un adjuvant à base d'un silicone-glycol, constitué essentiellement d'un (i) silicone-glycol possédant une structure moyenne (voir fig. I), où Me représente un radical méthyle, et (ii) d'un dispersant de silicones-glycols pour le composé (i). Comparativement à des adjuvants à base de silicone-glycol ne comportant pas de chaîne glycol terminée par un acétoxy, les compositions de la présente invention offrent une meilleure résistance à la pluie lors de l'élimination des mauvaises herbes, et particulièrement des abutilons.
