The invention relates to a double potassium-ytterbium tungstate single crystal [KYb(WO4)2], optionally doped with one or more rare earth element ions, having a crystallographic structure belonging to the monoclinic system, spatial group C2/c, and used as a material for solid state lasers with emission in the visible spectrum, particularly in green and blue, and which are pumped by infrared diodes.

L'invention concerne un monocristal de wolframate double de potassium et d'iterbium [KYb(WO¿4?)¿2?], éventuellement dopé à l'aide d'un ou de plusieurs ions d'éléments appartenant aux terres rares, présentant une structure cristalographique appartenant au système monoclinique, groupe spatial C2/c, et utilisé en tant que matière pour lasers à l'état solide à émission dans le spectre visible, en particulier, dans le vert et le bleu, bombés par des diodes à rayonnement infrarouge.
