Pounce is a board game designed for 2 to 8 players ages eight to adult. Pounce can be played individually or as a team using a specially designed deck of cards. The aim is to get all of your pegs out, around the board and back safely into the home zone without being pounced upon by your opponents. Along the way are distinctively coloured holes which allows the player to maneuver his or her peg closer to their home zone; however, these positions are fraught with danger as an opponent will likely try to land in the same spot and send your peg back to your start zone. Kill cards and switch cards can foil even the best laid plans making it that much more difficult to reach home. Once a player has all his or her pegs safely home, that player is declared the winner or, if playing in teams, may then begin to help his or her team mates in bringing their pegs home.
