ABSTRACT A pour through stopper which permits dispensing of a liquid from a container without complete removal of the stopper. The construction is such that the stopper defines a dispensing passage through which the liquid passes when it is being poured. An improved sealing arrangement is provided for preventing the accidental discharge of liquid and for protecting and sealing the components of the stopper from the dispensed liquid.
