There is provided a pouring device for use with a pouch containing a liquid. The device can comprise a first closing mechanism and a second closing mechanism. The first closing mechanism is effective for allowing or preventing passage of a fluid from the first chamber to the outside of the device. The second closing mechanism is effective for allowing or preventing passage of a fluid from the first chamber to a second chamber that is adapted to be in fluid flow communication with the pouch. Such a pouch can be for example a milk pouch adapted to be inserted into a jug.
