TITLE POURING FITMENT WITH CONTAINER AND CLOSURE THEREFOR ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A pouring fitment defines an inwardly facing recess that receives an outwardly extending annular holding portion of a mating container and an annular sealing bead on the fitment engages the holding portion. A lip of the fitment that defines a pouring surface is received and deformed by a cradle defined by a closure. Extending downwardly from the closure is a support member that presses the fitment against the container.
