ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A Spout forming attachment for cartons the spout having a pointed end for piercing a wall of the carton and also having a tubular body portion, a circular flange on the body for engaging an outer face of the carton wall and a threaded portion on the tubular body for retaining the carton wall in contact with the flange. A cap preferably attached to the spout is provided for closing the outer end of the spout.
