POWDER AEROSOL ANTIPERSPIRANT COMPOSITIONS Abstract of the Disclosure An aerosol powder antiperspirant composition which contains a suspending agent selected from the group con- sisting of montmorillonite clays and hydrophobically treated montmorillonite clays, and a 60/40 to about 80/20 parts by weight mixture of ethanol and water, wherein the weight ratio of the ethanol/water mixture to suspending agent is from about 1.5:1 to about 4:1. The result is improved suspensions of the antiperspirants salts in the composition, with lower settling rates and less agglomeration.
