POWDER SPRAY BOOTH ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A spray booth for powder coating is disclosed. The booth has a self contained recovery/filter system in the floor, and is removably attached to the booth so that another recovery system can be used when spraying different powders, different colors, or to facilitate cleaning or repair of the recovery system, without disabling the spraying operation. The placement of the recovery/filter system in the base of the booth allows the elimination of restrictions in the air flow passages to the recovery/filter system, with the attendant benefit that there are no confined areas where powder contaminated air could cause an explosion. - 1 -
