A biocidal powder for sustained release of chlorine dioxide includes particles containing chlorite anions, and a hydrophobic core having the particles on a surface thereof, the hydrophobic core containing an acid releasing agent. The particles and the hydrophobic core are substantially free of water, and the particles are capable of releasing chlorine dioxide upon hydrolysis of the acid releasing agent.
L'invention porte sur une poudre biocide à libération continue de dioxyde de chlore, composée de particules contenant des anions chlorate et un noyau hydrophobe à la surface duquel se trouvent les particules, et qui contient un agent de libération d'acide. Les particules et le noyau hydrophobe sont pratiquement exempts d'eau, et les particules peuvent libérer du dioxyde de chlore lors de l'hydrolyse de l'agent de libération d'acide.
