The present invention relates to a method of preparing an explosible powder suitable for combustion in an oxidiz-ing gas. This method involves providing a biomass feedstock material and drying the biomass feedstock material to a moisture lev-el of less than or equal to 10%. The dried biomass feedstock material is milled to form an explosible powder suitable for combus-tion when dispersed in an oxidizing gas. A system for carrying out this method is also disclosed.

La présente invention porte sur un procédé de préparation d'une poudre explosive appropriée pour une combustion dans un gaz oxydant. Ce procédé met en jeu la disposition d'une charge d'alimentation de biomasse et le séchage de la charge d'alimentation de biomasse à un niveau d'humidité inférieur ou égal à 10 %. La charge d'alimentation de biomasse séchée est broyée pour former une poudre explosive appropriée pour une combustion lorsqu'elle est dispersée dans un gaz oxydant. L'invention porte également sur un système pour mettre en uvre ce procédé.
