2064583 9102046 PCTABS00003 Powdered preparations of surface active alkylglycosides containing 5 - 65 wt.% of a surface active alkylglycoside and 35 - 95 wt.% of an inert inorganic carrier are obtained by mixing the raw product produced in the industrial manufacture of the alkylglycosides with water and an inorganic particulate carrier, e.g. silicic acid, chalk or sodium chloride, and drying the mixture. Preferred powdered preparations contain 20 - 50 wt.% of the alkylglycoside and 50 - 80 wt.% of an inert inorganic carrier.
