Power booster comprising a hydraulic jack with thrust-reversing device, loacted between a driving force and a resistive element. The power booster consists of cylinders (1) mounted in pairs by means of a yoke (9) rotating on a shaft (10) and containing oil between two mutually opposed pistons (5, 3). The left hand piston which is machined as a ring (3) has a piston rod in the form of a tube (4) provided with a piston (8) which, by exerting pressure, produces opposite pressure forces on the other two pistons. An attachment system (12) screwed to the tube (4) conveys, with reversal, the negative power of the ring to the forward attachment system (13) by means of levers (14, 15) engaging the yoke (18). The sum of the pressure forces boosts the engine power. The tube piston is operated by a driving rocker arm attached to an engine-driven pulley (21, 22) (21). The attachment system and the right hand piston operate a rocker arm (23) keyed to the shaft by means of a cotter pin (24) which causes the resistive element to rotate. Flanges (27) ensure a constant separation between the yokes (18) and the last mentioned rocker arm.

12 ABREGE MULTIPLICATEUR DE FORCE Appareil multiplicateur de force comprenant un vérin hydraulique à dispositif inverseur de poussée, interposé en- tre une force motrice et une résistance. formé de cylindres (F.1-1) montés en couple par une chape (F.2-9) tournant sur un arbre (F.2-10) et contenant de l'huile entre deux pistons disposés vis-avis (F.1-5,3). Le piston de gauche usiné en cou ronne (F.1-3) a pour tige un tube (F.1-4) pourvu d'un piston (F.1-8) qui, par pression, produit sur les deux autres pis- tons des forces pressantes contraires. Un attelage (F.4-12) vissé au tube (F.6-4) transmet en l'inversant la force néga- tive de la couronne à un attelage avant (F.6-13) par des le- viers (F.7-14,15) appuyés sur la chape (F.8-18). La somme des forces pressantes multiplie la force du moteur. Le pis- ton du tube est poussé par un balancier propulseur fixé à une poulie (F.11-21;22) (F.12-21) entraînée par un moteur. L'attelage et le piston de droite poussent un balancier (F. 13-23) claveté à l'arbre (F.14-24) lequel fait tourner l'ap- pareil résistant. Des brides (F.13-27) maintiennent un écart constant entre la chape et ce dernier balancier.
