An AC power coil includes a winding about a longitudinally extending core to create a longitudinally extending flux path therein and the core includes a plurality of ferro-magnetic segments extending along the flux path. The power coil will be connected to an AC path which meets an RF path at a node and will be designed to reduce Hum modulation of the RF signal.
