Electrical power connector (2) having a power inlet (4), a first power outlet (8) coupled to said power inlet, at least one second power outlet (10) which is coupled to said power inlet by switch means (28, 30), and switch control means (34, 36, 40, 42, 44) for controlling the state of the switch means in accordance with the average current supplied to the first power outlet (8). The casing (6) of the connector is formed from two parts (6A,) which releasably hold the power outlets (8), (10).
