Abstract A power driver control circuit provides control signals for switching transistors in a power driver for an electromagnetic actuator of the type used for controlling a servo head in a closed loop servo system. The control circuit includes variable time delay circuits connected to threshold detectors so that dead zones can be created when the servo error signal changes polarity thereby isolating the switches and preventing switch burn-out.
