A suspension type clamping device adapted to receive a conductor, the clamping device comprised of a clevis to pivotally suspend the clamp, a first body having a resilient bushing containing first and second chambers interconnected by a center portion having at least one channel. A cover shaped to removably mate with the first body including at least one resilient bushing cooperative with the bushings of the first and second cavities to form a resilient conductor inlet and outlet and secure the conductor in the channel. The resilient bushings act to reduce the stress on the conductor or optical ground wire during conductor motion.
