POWER SPARING CIRCUIT Abstract of the Disclosure In a power sparing circuit having a number of redundant power supplies for providing power to a load, an apparatus for detecting failure of one of the power supplies is disclosed. It is comprised of switching means connected between a power supply and a load, means for monitoring voltage across the switching means and means for activating the switching means to disconnect the power supply from the load if the voltage across the switching means changes polarity. - i -
