ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The present invention provides a power transmis- sion mechanism comprising an hourglass worm, a wheel device mounted on a shaft arranged to intersect perpendicularly to the longitudinal axis of said worm, characterized in that a plurality of roller means mounted in a circumference of said wheel device at the distance corresponding to the pitch of a continuous tooth groove in said hourglass worm, each of said roller means being formed by at least a pair of disk rollers, one of said rollers being contacted with one wall of opposite wall of said tooth groove, and said roller means being pressed against said worm.
