ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The improved device disclosed herein is designed to permit both left and right handed golfers to practice their golf swings in a relatively restricted or confined area. The improved golf practice device includes a base having an upright center post. The base is adapted to be secured to the ground by a plurality of unique pegs and by a unique center pin whose upper end is disposed within a cavity formed in the center post. A curved arm is mounted, at one end, on the center post so that the arm may rotate about the center post in a horizontal plane spaced above the plane of the base. A golf-ball-like ball is attached to the other end of the arm and is adapted to be struck by a golf club swung by a golfer using the practice device. In order to accommodate both left and right handed golfers, the direction in which the ballfaces can be changed by removing the arm from the center post, rotating the arm 180° about its longitudinal axis, and then returning the arm to the center post. A spacer ring is also mounted on the center post to adjust the height of the ball above the ground. A cap is secured to the upper end of the center post to retain the arm and spacer ring on the center post.
