ABSTRACT A polymerizable resin composition containing (1) a vinyl ester resin which is the reaction product of a polyepoxide with an ethylenically unsaturated mono- carboxylic acid and optionally a dicarboxylic acid anhy- dride, and (2) an N-phenylmorpholine compound correspond- ing to the formula Image where R1 and R2 independently are hydrogen or C1-4 alkyl. The morpholine compound serves as an accelerator for cata- lysts such as benzoyl peroxide and advantageously provides more uniform gel times on storage than do other accelera- ions.
