A novel aqueous sheet-impregnating composition including a composition of a styrene-ethyl acrylate-butyl acrylate copolymer and a binder. The binder is selected from polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinyl acetate, gelatin and starch, and the composition includes 5-90 parts by weight of a polyvinyl alcohol solution and 10-95 parts by weight of a styrene-ethyl acrylate-butyl acrylate copolymer dispersion. A decorative sheet for laminates may thereby be obtained.

L'invention concerne une nouvelle composition aqueuse d'imprégnation d'une feuille comprenant une composition d'un copolymère styrène-acrylate d'éthyle-acrylate de butyle et d'un liant. Selon l'invention, le liant est choisi parmi l'alcool polyvinyli- que, le polyacétate de vinyle, la gélatine, l'amidon et la composition comprend de 5 à 90 parties en poids d'une solution d'alcool polyvinylique et de 10 à 95 parties en poids d'une dispersion d'un copolymère styrène-acrylate de butyle.
