The SAFETY HAZARDS of pre - heating piping prior to welding in all operating gas plants and or gas related work areas can be omitted with an invention that will omit the present practice of using open flame ( propane tiger torches ) for pre heat which in the past has proven to be hazardous and often fatal. Using a technique that intails an electric heating coil and a insulated heat pad that can induce the required heat quickly and safely .The tool is wrapped around the pipe weld joint ,fastened and plugged into a power source ,producing a more even and stable pre- weld heat. PRE - WRAPS are non combustible, oil and gas resistant and can safely produce over 1000 degrees of heat and will ensure a safer working environment for everyone. Being a useful tool in any work environment that enhances safety and productivity can only add to the construction industry.
