-12- "PRECAST BUILDING COMPONENTS" ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE The invention consists of precast reinforced con- crete posts or columns adapted to receipt precase rein- forced rails for use as fences or building walls. The posts or columns are notched or slotted vertically along one, two, three or four sides depending upon their use so that the rails can engage the notches at the upper ends of the posts or columns and can be slid downwardly to be retained between adjacent posts or columns. At least one vertical side wall of the notches or slots incline out- wardly relative to the other vertical side wall of the notches or slots thus forming a wedge-shaped clearance with the corresponding face of the rail when inserted, so that grout or the like can be used to fill the clearance for sealing purposes.
