ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A process for producing silicas having a cleaning, polishing and thickening effect and being intended for use as dentifrices. This process is characterized in that the sili- cas obtained in a conventional manner by precipitation and having varying particle sizes and particle densities are homo- geneously mixed with each other in the suspension phase and that the mixtures are further treated in the usual manner by filtering, drying and grinding.
