This invention discloses a donor blood donation and sampling system including a donor needle (216) adapted for drawing blood from a body, a blood collection bag (210) coupled to a blood collection conduit (214) which is coupled to the donor needle, a blood sampling conduit (220) also coupled to the donor needle, and a sampling tube assembly (222) arranged for selectable fluid engagement with the blood sampling conduit and for selectable clamping engagement with at least said blood collection conduit. A donor blood donation and sampling method is also disclosed.
La présente invention concerne un système permettant de prélever et d'échantillonner le sang d'un donneur, lequel système comprend une aiguille-donneur conçu pour extraire du sang du corps, une poche de prélèvement de sang couplée à un conduit de prélèvement de sang lui-même relié à l'aiguille-donneur, un conduit d'échantillonnage du sang également couplé à l'aiguille-donneur et un ensemble tube d'échantillonnage conçu pour venir sélectivement au contact fluidique du conduit d'échantillonnage du sang et pour venir sélectivement en prise par serrage avec ledit conduit de prélèvement de sang au moins. L'invention concerne également un procédé de prélever et d'échantillonner le sang d'un donneur.
