PREFABRICATED BALCONY DECK ABSTRACT A prefabricated balcony deck which combines the strength and lasting resistance of wood, to fire and weather resistance and which may readily be custom made. This pre- fabricated balcony deck distinctively comprises a wooden core and a coating of fire and weather resistant plastic bonded to and enclosing the wooden core. The wooden core includes a wood panel and transverse bars fixed against the bottom face thereof and including longitudinally topering bars to provide a built-in pitch in the balcony deck. The plastic coating includes a pair of mats bonded against the top and bottom faces respectively of the wooden core, peripher- ally bonded to each other, and cooperatively forming a drip portion along the periphery of the wooden core.
