ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A dwelling unit comprising first, second and third prefabricated and self-supporting modular room elements, the first element being of an incomplete parallelepipedal form with faces forming a base and two side legs so as to give it an inverted "U" shape, the second element having faces forming a base and a single side leg so as to give it an inverted "L" shape, and the third element being of an in- complete parallelepipedal form with an open upper end and a partition dividing the element internally so as to form first and second compartments, the first compartment being open at the top, the second compartment being open at the top and at one side.
