A number of triangular or rectilinear flat panels are bent along their edges forming flanges. The so-formed panels are fastened together at the flanges in a staggered manner, producing a dome-like or arched structure or a flat-walled structure. This differs from other structures that are usually composed of a skeleton of ribs, covered separately by flat or curved panels or fabric sheets.
