A preform and a container formed from the preform by stretch molding. The preform has at least a layer comprising a polyester resin and has been formed by compression molding. The time required for the layer comprising a polyester resin to come to have a maximum value of the quantity of heat of isothermal crystallization at 210~C is 300 seconds or longer. The resin is hence inhibited from suffering pyrolysis during molding for producing the preform. The preform is effectively inhibited from suffering a decrease in intrinsic viscosity or generating acetaldehyde. A biaxially stretched container excellent in mechanical strength and flavor retention can be provided.

La présente invention concerne une paraison et un récipient formé par étirement-moulage de la paraison. Cette paraison, qui comporte au moins une couche comprenant une résine de polyester, a été formée par compression-moulage. Le temps qu'il faut à la couche comprenant une résine de polyester pour en arriver à avoir une valeur maximale de la quantité de chaleur de cristallisation isotherme à 210 ·C est d'au moins 300 secondes. On empêche ainsi la résine de subir une pyrolyse pendant le moulage destiné à la production de la paraison. On empêche effectivement la paraison de subir une diminution de viscosité intrinsèque ou de dégager de l'acétaldéhyde. L'invention permet ainsi la réalisation d'un récipient obtenu par étirement biaxial, présentant d'excellentes qualités de résistance mécanique et de conservation des saveurs.
