In accordance with the present invention, there is provided pregabalin lactose conjugate compounds. Also provided as part of the present invention is a novel method of central nervous system disorders or diseases including seizure disorders, pain, depression, anxiety, sleep disorders, consumptive disorders, psychosis, tardive dyskinesia, Huntington's disease, or Parkinson's disease in a subject by administering to the subject a pharmaceutically effective amount of a pregabalin lactose conjugate.
