Abstract Heating System for Pulpstones This invention relates to pulpstones for grinding wood logs to make a pulp used for the manufacture of paper. The invention is concerned with the structure of and method of conditioning a pulpstone for installation in a grinding machine, the pulpstone having a built in heating means adapted to be energized to heat the pulpstone up to near its usual operating temperature just prior to the time it is to be installed in and made ready for use in the grinding machine which is designed for the grinding of the logs to produce the pulp used for the manufacture of paper.
