The invention concerns a premium tubular threaded joint comprising at least on a threaded element a free-end abutting distal surface (7) of a threaded element and a seat on the lip (5) spaced apart by a given distance from the threading. The lip includes a protuberance (13) which extends the lip towards its free end beyond the seat on the lip (5) so that the lip has both high radial stiffness and low axial stiffness, thereby resulting in enhanced sealing properties of the threaded joint under pressure and/or traction and other advantages (real tightening torque accuracy, axial compression mechanical strength, impact barrier effect, engagement tolerance of the threaded elements).
Le joint fileté tubulaire supérieur comporte au moins sur un élément fileté une surface distale de butée (7) en extrémité libre d'un élément fileté et une portée d'étanchéité sur lèvre (5) à distance donnée du filetage. La lèvre comporte un appendice (13) qui prolonge la lèvre vers son extrémité libre au-delà de la portée d'étanchéité sur lèvre (5) de manière à ce que la lèvre possède à la fois une forte raideur radiale et une faible raideur axiale. Il en résulte des performances accrues d'étanchéité du joint fileté sous pression et/ou sous traction et d'autres avantages (précision sur le couple réel de vissage, résistance mécanique en compression axiale, effet de barrière aux chocs, tolérance à l'engagement des éléments filetés).
