PREPARATION AND APPLICATION OF FLUORESCING ADHESIVE MATERIALS ABSTRACT OF THE DISCLOSURE A liquid or semi-liquid material having adhe- sive properties is mixed with a paint containing fluores- cent pigments and applied to a backing material to which is adheres in a preferably three dimensional configura- tion. This material can be extruded, spread with a palette knife or applied in other ways and is self- supporting during the curing process. It is capable of fluorescing or emitting visible light and excitation of light within the ultra-violet range. This permits word- ings and/or decorative patterns to be prepared on a back- ing, readily and easily.
