A preparation for synthesizing a cell-free protein which contains a cell extract prepared by eliminating from an organism systems relating to the inhibition of self-protein synthesis reactions; an apparatus for synthesizing a cell-free protein provided with a reaction tank for synthesizing the cell- free protein; and a kit to be used therefor. The above preparation is obtained as a product which can be stored at room temperature while sustaining the biological functions of the cell extract. A means for continuously synthesizing a cell-free protein comprising a cell extract from which substances inhibiting self-protein synthesis reactions have been substantially eliminated, involving a procedure selected from among addition, preservation, exchange and discharge of a factor selected from among mRNA serving as a template in the synthesis reactions, an enzyme participating in the energy regeneration system, a substrate and an energy source.
Cette invention se rapporte à une préparation servant à synthétiser une protéine exempte de cellules, qui contient un extrait de cellules que l'on prépare en éliminant d'un organisme les systèmes concernant l'inhibition des réactions d'auto-protéinosynthèse; à un appareil de synthèse d'une protéine exempte de cellules, comprenant un réservoir de réaction pour la synthèse de la protéine exempte de cellules; et à un kit utilisé à cet effet. On obtient cette préparation sous la forme d'un produit qui peut être conservé à température ambiante, tout en gardant les fonctions biologiques de l'extrait de cellules. Un moyen servant à la synthèse en continu d'une protéine exempte de cellules comprend un extrait de cellules d'où les substances inhibant les réactions d'auto-protéinosynthèse ont été pratiquement éliminées, impliquant une procédure choisie parmi l'ajout, la conservation, l'échange et la décharge d'un facteur choisi parmi un ARNm servant de gabarit dans les réactions de synthèse, une enzyme participant au système de régénération d'énergie, un substrat et une source d'énergie.
