ABSTRACT PREPARATION FROM HYDROXYLAMMONIUM SULFATE OF ALCOHOLIC HYDROXYLAMINE SOLUTIONS AND OF OXIMES, HYDROXAMIC ACIDS AND OF OTHER HYDROXYLAMMONIUM SALTS VIA ALCOHOLIC HYDROXYLAMINE SOLUTIONS Solid hydroxylammonium sulfate is reacted with an alcohol solution of an alkali metal hydroxide or alk- oxide to produce an alcoholic hydroxylamine liquid phase and a sulfate-containing solid phase. The liquid phase is used for further reactions such as oximations and hydroxamic acid production, or for the production of other hydroxylammonium salts such as the nitrate, per- chlorate, formate or oxalate.
