PRECIS DE LA DIVULGATION: L'invention a pour objet un procédé de préparation d'un nouveau dérivé aminoglycosidique, à savoir la 4-O[2',6'- diamino 2',3',6'-tridésoxy .alpha.,D-ribohexopyranosyl] 6-O-[3"- méthylamino 3",4",6"-tridésoxy .alpha.,D-xylohexopyranosyl] 2-désoxy- streptamine de formule: Image ainsi que de ses sels d'addition pharmaceutiquement acceptables. Ledit procédé consiste essentiellement à synthétiser le nouveau dérivé au départ de la 5,6-O-cyclohexylidène tétra N-carbométhoxy néamine et du 1-O-acétyl 2-O-benzyl 3-(N-carbéthoxy N-méthyl) amino 3,4,6-tridésoxy D-xylohexopyranose. Les produits obtenus par le procédé de l'invention ont une activité antibiotique.
