Abstract of the Disclosure A novel catalyst system is provided useful for the preparation of B-stage unsat- urated polyester resins having, as the essen- tial components, a peroxide catalyst and a ferrocene derivative in certain critical ratios. Incorporation of a temperature responsive per oxide catalyst provides later cure of the resin. The product B-stage resins offer the advantage. of improved molding characteristics.
