Abstract of the Disclosure A novel process for preparing benzoylureas is described herein. The process involves forming a ureido bridge between a benzamide and an amine using an alkyl- lithium and a phenyl chloroformate as other reagents. The benzoylureas obtained by this process are useful as insecticides.
