The present invention relates to a method for the preparation of cells for use in the production of biologicals, by culturing cells up till a desired cell volume of a preproduction batch, where after in a repeated discontinous process: a) part of the cells of the preproduction batch is used for the preparation of at least one production batch, and b) the remaining part of the cells of the preproduction batch is used as a seed for the preparation of at least one subsequent preproduction batch.

Cette invention se rapporte à un procédé servant à préparer des cellules utilisables dans la production de substances biologiques, ce procédé consistant à cultiver des cellules jusqu'à obtenir un volume cellulaire désiré d'un lot de préproduction, puis, selon un processus discontinu répété: a) à utiliser une partie des cellules de ce lot de préproduction pour préparer au moins un lot de production et b) à utiliser la partie restante des cellules de ce lot de préproduction comme germe pour la préparation d'au moins un lot de préproduction ultérieur.
