- 1 - Abstract: The invention relates to new types of preparations containing clotrimazole, i.e. a gel preparation, a cream and a liquid preparation, which are useful for an external use for the treatment of various trichophytoses. These new preparations contain the active ingredient clotri- mazole in solution in crotamiton. The new types of preparations of clotrimazole can be applied to the skin without such drawbacks as skin irritation and soiling of clothes which result from the use of the conventional tinctures or ointments.
