A new procedure is described for the selective preparation of crystalline polymorphs A and B of fosinopril, especially polymorph A. The procedure described allows to avoid the use of significant quantities of water, thus resulting in a lower risk of hydrolytic degradations of the active ingredient.

L'invention concerne une nouvelle procédure permettant de préparer de manière sélective des polymorphes cristallins A et B de fosinopril, notamment un polymorphe A. La procédure selon l'invention permet d'éviter l'utilisation d'importantes quantités d'eau, le risque de dégradations hydrolytiques du principe actif étant réduit.
